Re-Jet Carburetor GX160 & GX200
The information on this page applies to your GX160 & GX200 carburetor. The same principles apply to the GX340 & GX390 carb. The carburetor pictured is a Blue OHV clone carb.
Remove the 10mm bolt from the bottom of the carburetor and lower the bowl.
With a thin, straight slot screw driver, remove the stock main jet.
The emulsion tube will follow the main jet. If the emulsion tube doesn't come out, just tap the side of the carburetor and it should fall out. Install the GX140 emulsion tube and larger main jet in the same order the stock jets came out.
Install the carburetor bowl making sure the o-ring is in place to prevent leaks.
