The grade 10.9 bolts and studs are much stronger. This kit includes studs for the cylinder head and bolts for the side cover. We use bolts on the side cover because the studs will interfere with the chain guard and chain. Highly recommended for big horsepower and high rpm applications.

Clone valve train upgrade kit consists of: • 1 - 26mm (1.024”) intake valve (1mm larger than stock and almost 10% more flow area!) • 1 - 24mm (.945”) exhaust valve • 2 - 1.3/1 rockers (giving the stock cam almost .290 lift!) • 2 - 18 lbs seat pressure valve springs • 2 - billet retainers • 2 - hardened locks • 2 - valve stem wear caps • 2 - .060 valve spring shims • 1 - push rod guide plate These are quality components and are great for the intermediate performance enhancement of the clone engine allowing the engine’s valve train to go well over 7,000 rpm’s without valve float (be certain to upgrade any other engine components that may fail with increased RPM’s prior to using this kit). All necessary parts are included and everything is a bolt in except the intake seat needs to be enlarged 1mm (.040”) to accommodate the larger valve.
